In this release we have added some great new features and improved some existing functions of the BlueVenn Marketing Platform. More details on this follows under the relevant headings below.
- Parametric Banding creation
This feature provides the ability to derive grouped bands or segments for analysis and summary of trends. These Bandings can be used in pivots or stand-alone. For example, grouping Lifetime Spend values into discrete groups for analysis in Pivots.
- Inline metrics on categorised data
This visual enhancement provides the ability to preview counts & percentages of data grouped by categorisations when used. For example, when opening the Income Bands banding, BlueVenn provides a breakdown of record counts against each value and a proportion of the whole each value represents:
- Further GDPR support
As part of ongoing GDPR support enhancements, in this release we now allow restriction of the number of data field records available for view by specific users for added security. For example, if a GDPR restriction is applied, affected users will only see the values of and fields displayed for the first N records:
- Selection prediction model
This provides the ability to build predictive models using R modelling capabilities. Using a target audience, reasonable demographic variables and an optional comparison domain, users can predict how likely a contact is to react in the same way as the target audience.
For example, to find contacts who are likely to become GPS customers we can identify those people that already are and use them as a target.
Demographics can then be fed in for use by the model predication process to identify the key characteristics of a GPS customer, and how they correlate to the rest of the domain.
Once the model design is complete, the training process runs through the prediction tests using a cutting strategy to cut the data and compare variables against the target to predict a model to score. This process repeats several times and derives a score, which is accompanied by a robustness to indicate how robust the model is.
The scoring process produces a Boolean value of 0-1 with a staged increase in likelihood up to 1. The model can the be used to determine people who are predicted to be GPS customers using a simple selection like this, where 0 means unlikely, but up to 1 is highly likely. Below is requesting the Top 500 likely GPS customers based on the model prediction score:
- Improved campaign reporting and metrics
The campaign canvas view now incorporates additional tabs, providing better options for scheduling, status overview and detailed reporting within each campaign.
- Trial run status indication
Additionally when a campaign is in Trial Run mode or is still being worked on, a watermarked background provides a clear indication that the campaign has yet to run in production mode. During running of the campaign it is now possible to monitor the progress thanks to the additional progress bar and step indicator. This clearly highlights which step is currently being progressed.
- Deferred campaign drop-date support
This feature enables the Communication step to be marked with an alternative date to the run date to ensure next steps in the journey or post-campaign analysis is accurate. For example - direct mil campaign
- Further campaign code support
Allows users with appropriate rights to add variable codes for campaign promotions, segmentation or identification to be applied to communication steps. This allows for campaigns to be fulfilled, test cells marked and fed back for follow up analysis or journey next steps.
- Campaign table level control
This feature allows campaigns to be set to a restricted number of tables within the database, this means the risk of users selecting the wrong table level for exporting campaign data is far less likely. It also makes the table list much more manageable should the database contain a large number of tables.
- Extended user management
As seen above, restrictions can be applied to users to control what can be seen, shared and used by various user access levels. Support for individual users and groups is available, and bespoke configurations can be created determined by the users role, for example users can be given read-only access only, or maybe campaigns can be built by users but not executed, or fields on certain tables can be hidden from view if they are not applicable to the users brand.
Below we see that a Standard User is unable to access the Global Settings area yet an Administrator would be able to go here:
Items can be shared between users however by using the Share with All option on objects and folders:
